Fitting kids as small as 2, these are comfy soft foam pads that are perfect for the pint size run bikers and pedal bikers tearing up the neighborhood and light trails. They are like comfy socks with some pliable foam where needed. The best small fitting, little kids pads we have tried to date. The 7iDP Youth Transition Knee and Elbow Guards are super lightweight with its minimalist design that keeps the weight low. The slim profile means these can fit under a jersey with no problems. Internal silicone strips keep the elbow guards in place while riding and the compression fit makes them form closely around the upper arm and forearm.

So these are adult DH rated impact hardening foam elbow pads. I have used these for both my kids when they were ages 4-6. I used a size medium adult elbow for my kids knees and they are awesome. They don't slip a millimeter and have a ton of protection including the dreaded pedal to shin bite. These are the only knee pads my kids wore during those ages for  MTB as nothing else fit or offered the protection needed.

Great Tery lined pads that offer multi-layer foam protection with abrasion resistance. We really like that you can then on/off without taking the kiddos shoes off.

Available in 2 sizes, these memory foam D30 pads offer a fantastic feature, the ability to put the pads on with taking off your shoes (this is massive, I love this feature for my own Race Face pads). Same great foam as the adult pads and the ability to cinch fit with the adjustable Velcro closures. For the little guys and gals, you can use the elbows for knees.

Very light and comfortable impact absorbing foam, these are amazing pads for kids...especially for those who complain about wearing pads. As the elbow and knee design are almost identical, we use the elbow pads as knee pads for the really little guys. Just be sure to measure circumference to nail fit.

This particular pad combines the coverage of a knee pad with a shin guard, effectively covering your little guy's knee and lower extremities from impacts, should things go horribly wrong after overshooting a jump or taking a sweeping turn with a bit too much speed. The biggest difference between this pad and others on the marketplace lies in its Reactive Protection Technology, which remains soft and pliable while riding, only firming upon impact to dissipate forces that would otherwise be inflicted on your kids' most sensitive leg regions, such as the knee and shin bones.

A good budget pad set that you can use for multiple sports. These are one of our favorite hard shell pad sets but keep in mind they are not as comfortable as the Foam pads mentioned above. Comes with knee, elbow and wrist.
